Daniel Novela

Daniel Novela Daniel was born in 1964 in Makado, in Louis Trichardt and spent much of his childhood in Southern Mozambique. He overcame many hardships, emerging as the most well known contemporary impressionist artist in South Africa. He holds a National Diploma Fine Art from Vaal University of Technology. Novela represented Southern Africa in a number of group exhibitions in New York at Sankaranka gallery including his solo exhibition. Daniel is represented by several art galleries here in South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. His work continues to infiltrate private homes and corporates around the World. As a life painting instructor, numrous young people have received art training and mentorship from Daniel. Today some of them are reputable professional artists in their own right.
