Pieter vd Westhuizen

Pieter van der Westhuizen (1931 - 2008) was born in Pretoria. He studied art at Unisa under Sakkie Eloff, Leo Theron, Robert Hodgins and others. He is widely regarded as one of the most popular artists in South Africa today. He was skilled in a variety of medium: pastel, watercolour, oil, ink, pencil, charcoal, and other graphic media. His works are found in private and state collections in South Africa and internationally.
