Nicolaas’s is a South African expressionist abstract oil artist. His work is described as lyrical, atmospheric, and somewhat ethereal but serene.
His inspiration is drawn from the many ideologies from Eastern philosophy and my experimenting with different media styles.
Nicolaas is inspired by the depths and intensity of our vast oceans, resulting in strong, contrasting and bold images.
