Jean Abrie (1962 – )
Jean was born in South Africa and in his early years grew up in Zimbabwe. When he returned to South Africa he completed his schooling and graduated at the University of Pretoria. He is well known for his photo realistic paintings of African wildlife. He produces paintings with vibrant colours and broad brush strokes in his figurative art. His paintings are collected from all over the world.
